Who is responsible

The site is designed and operated by DD3D — Didier Vanbellingen — acting as a processor on the artist’s instructions.

What is collected, and why

The enquiry form collects a name, an email address and a message, for the sole purpose of answering you. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying.

The newsletter collects an email address, on your explicit consent, given by ticking a box that is not pre-filled. You may withdraw it at any time through the link in every mailing.

Requesting a catalogue collects an email address so the catalogue can be sent to you.

Our server keeps technical logs — address, date, page requested — as every web server does, to keep the site running and secure.

How long it is kept

Enquiries and the exchanges that follow: three years from the last contact. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: twelve months.

Who else sees it

Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. Your data is handled by the hosting provider of this site and by the service that delivers our email, both within the European Union, acting on our instructions alone.

Cloudflare, Inc. also processes the technical data of the audience measurement described below. Cloudflare is established in the United States and the transfer rests on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

An enquiry about an artwork may be forwarded to the gallery that represents the artist in your region, so that it can answer you. The galleries are listed on the Exhibitions page.

Cookies and audience measurement

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Two technical items are stored in your browser: your language preference, and the fact that you dismissed the notice at the bottom of the screen.

Visits are counted with Umami, which we host on our own server. It sets no cookie, follows nobody from one site to another, and stores nothing that identifies you — only how many times a page was opened. That data stays on our infrastructure.

A second, aggregate measurement runs through Cloudflare Web Analytics, so that reports can be produced for the artist and his galleries. It sets no cookie and builds no fingerprint of your device. The measurement is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. acting on our instructions; what it receives is the page visited and the technical characteristics of the request, never a name or an email address.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for its processing to be restricted, for it to be transferred to you, and you may object to it. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
